To be honest, I was tempted to quit reading FLIRTING IN ITALIAN after the first 50 pages due to character inconsistencies. Light summer fun with much left unresolved for a planned sequel. One magical, and possibly dangerous Italian summer. FLIRTING IN ITALIAN by Lauren Henderson is a quick contemporary beach read, but it will have you feeling dissatisfied. While Henderson (Kiss Me Kill Me) offers a perky heroine in Violet and plenty of tantalizing romance, readers may be jarred when the dropped thread suddenly picks up again in the second half of the novel, and someone may be out to hurt Violet.
